A question, only when it matters
When a rise has nothing logged beside it, glyso asks once, in the app — one tap to answer. No food diary: type what you ate in your own words or snap a photo, and glyso works out the rest.
How it works
glyso isn't a logbook you fill in forever. It reads your line, speaks when it has something worth saying, and asks about a rise only when nothing's logged beside it.

about 2 hours later · it measures
How far it rose, when it settled — and how it compares with the same meal on your own other days, with the count behind it.

next morning · it remembers
The whole night in one look — your curve, your pulse through it, how long you slept — in a sentence before you've had coffee.
Today
Your glucose sits in your own range band, with meals, doses, movement and sleep drawn on the same timeline — so the cause is right there next to the rise.

The real app — not a mockup.
Ask glyso
The glyso tab answers questions from your own record — the last year of your readings, meals, doses, walks and nights. glyso pulls the figures from your record with its own code; the AI reads them and writes the answer.
Your record only. Never a dose, never a forecast of where your line is heading. Opens once it has about 7 days of your data.
Connects to
Connect your CGM in one to three minutes. Add a watch or a strap and glyso can explain the days a meal can't — the short night, the long walk, the stressful week.

Trends & your score
Pure arithmetic — no AI writes a word of it. Time in range each day against your range and the NICE range, and an estimated A1c. Your glyso score unlocks after 7 days.

Today's bar stays a different shade until the day is done — drawn, not counted.

A Sunday story you tap through, ending in a card you can share.
How glyso compares
| Feature | glyso | Your CGM app | Logbook apps |
|---|---|---|---|
| Why it moved | Each rise and dip paired with its likely cause — the meal, the walk, the night. | Not its job — it shows the number. | You log; it stores. The why is left to you. |
| Your own days, compared | The same lunch across weeks: "sharper than your typical rise, measured against 12 of your own." | One day at a time. | Charts — you do the comparing. |
| Questions | Ask in plain words; answered from your own record. | No. | No. |
| Alarms | No — deliberately. That's your CGM's job. | Yes — highs, lows, rising fast. | No. |
Your CGM app stays essential — keep its alerts on. glyso works alongside it, never instead of it.
Questions
glyso is a glucose coaching app for Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes. It reads your continuous glucose monitor (CGM), links each rise and dip to its likely cause — the meal, the walk, the night — and explains it in plain words.
No. glyso explains what already happened. It doesn't diagnose or treat anything, it doesn't raise alarms, and it never gives insulin dosing advice. Real-time alerts stay your CGM app's job — keep those alerts on.
FreeStyle Libre 3 and Libre 2 Plus, and Dexcom G7, G6, ONE+, ONE and G7 15 Day (Stelo can't connect yet — Dexcom keeps it off Share). Alongside your CGM, glyso can read Apple Health (including Apple Watch), WHOOP and Fitbit for sleep, movement and heart rate. glyso is for CGM wearers — there's no fingerstick or manual glucose entry.
The chat tab. Ask "what does pizza do to me?" or "why did last night run high?" and it answers from your own record. glyso pulls the figures from your record with its own code; the AI reads them and writes the answer. It never gives a dose, never forecasts where your line is heading, and answers "can I eat this now?" with what that food did before — the decision stays yours. It opens once it has about 7 days of your data.
Nothing during the three-week beta — that's your chance to see if it helps. After it, glyso is £11.99 a month or £99.99 a year on the App Store, with every feature included. There's no free trial and no free tier after the beta.
The beta starts on Sunday 1 November and runs for three weeks with 30 testers, Type 1 and Type 2. Every place has gone. Join the mailing list and you'll be first to hear when glyso opens to everyone on the App Store.
We never sell your personal data — not to anyone, not ever. No ad trackers, no sharing with insurers or employers, and we don't let anyone train third-party AI models on it. Aggregated, de-identified data helps improve glyso; whether your de-identified data also joins our wider research set is your choice, asked once, and you can say no. The full detail is in the privacy notice.
